Coaches Comments:
Despite frigid temperatures and heavy winds our team worked hard to get a great result against a stubborn team. The conditions hampered both teams but our players were able to stay determined in playing intelligent soccer with controlling the ball and creating good amounts of scoring opportunities. We proved that good teams can play good soccer despite the conditions it was hard enough to just stand there. let alone try to play smart soccer. Our midfielders and forwards worked hard on both sides of the field attacking as a unit and doing a great job of being the first line of defence. When this happens good things will follow.
It is incredibly exciting that we will get the opportunity and privilege to represent Michigan in the national tournament to be held in Arizona (Chander-Gilbert) where the top eight teams in the nation will be playing for the national championship.
