Coaches Comments:

Getting ranked #1 in the nation is certainly a privilege, considering all the great players and talented teams that are playing NJCAA D1. It also brings with it its own pressures and expectations and we found that out this weekend when playing against a stubborn Cincinnati State College.

We got a quick goal within the first 8 minutes, dropped our guard, and Cincinnati came back tied it up and went up one. We fought back and unfortunately conceded a own goal when one of Cincinnati's shots banked of our own player and went in.

I think a weaker group would have succumbed to the challenges that we faced, and our group of players worked extremely hard to put a great 2nd half and kept the pressure on until the last second of the game.

As a group, we feel that this weekend was definitely one of those situations where we learnt the consequences of underestimating an opponent. It will help us to always be ready to give our best regardless of who we play.

This weekend the Ocelots fly to the sunshine state to play 2nd ranked Darton and 7th ranked Polk.
