Coaches Comments:
It was a very important win for us due to the playoffs structure. Cincinnati State College is a crucial portal that we have to go through for us to appear in the national tournament. I thought our players were very focused and scored superb goals, the work rate was consistently strong and our fitness level and depth of our team really played a big hand in the game.
We are extremely proud of our players and their accomplishment, to be recognized and ranked this high amongst the other elite womens soccer programs in the nation is truly significant and it speaks directly to the hard work put in by our team.
Next up is a short trip downriver to meet University of Michigan Dearborn on Saturday afternoon.
