Coaches Comments:
Davenport was a heartbreaker and I thought we played really well and responded well to their goal early in the first half. We came back and scored three quality goals and then we gave up two goals in the last five minutes. We broke down mentally and lost our focus. It was a tough blow for our players because of the hard work they put in and the quality of goals created including Kate Gilbert's "screamer" from 25 yards out!
We again went down early to Albion and then came back and tied it up in the first half. We had several chances that we just didn't capitalize on and had to settle for a tie against a hard working team from Albion!
Oakton College cancelled their game at Schoolcraft citing scheduling conflicts and will not be made up this season.
Next up on the Schoolcraft schedule they travel to Jackson on September 21st to play the newest region 12 soccer team. In their first contest Schoolcraft won 5-1.
